Dina Joseph is an Associate Attorney at California Employment Counsel, APC. She is a first generation Haitian-American and the first lawyer in her family. Raised by a single mom, she learned the importance of advocating for others at an early age and these experiences are what guided the trajectory of her career into the employment field.
Dina attended Western State University College of Law in Irvine where she was a member of and served as Editor of The Western State Law Review. Prior to joining California Employment Counsel, Dina worked as a Law Clerk at a personal injury law firm seeking justice for those who suffered from catastrophic injuries and assisting attorneys in recovering hundreds of thousands in settlements.
Dina’s current practice is dedicated exclusively to representing individual employees who have suffered illegal adverse actions by their employer. Her caseload runs the gamut: (1) sexual harassment; (2) pregnancy discrimination; (3) retaliation for taking protected medical leave; (4) racial and gender discrimination; (5) unpaid overtime; (6) missed meal and rest breaks; and (7) wrongful termination. Dina and the team at California Employment Counsel fight aggressively for these individuals – obtaining significant compensation for those who have been victimized.
In her free time, Dina enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and giving back to the community by mentoring at-risk youth, along with volunteering with a multitude of charities and organizations.
