Alliyah Thomas is an Associate Attorney at California Employment Counsel, APC, where she is committed to advocating for individuals who have experienced discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination in the workplace. With a deep-rooted passion for fighting on behalf of marginalized communities, Alliyah approaches each case with compassion, determination, and a strong sense of justice.
Alliyah earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. During law school, she worked with the ACLU Jails Project and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, gaining hands-on experience in civil rights advocacy.
Her unwavering commitment to public interest law earned her Pro Bono Honors at graduation, recognizing her extensive work with underserved communities. Outside the office, Alliyah enjoys fitness, traveling, and caring for her puppy, Chai.
